Students are admitted to undergraduate courses (four-year Bachelor of Technology) through an All-India entrance known as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by all the IIT's, For PG courses admission is based on IIT JAM or GATE. So other than GATE one can opt for IIT JAM.

Candidates with valid GATE score will also be required to appear for TANCET
Candidates who are appearing for the TANCET MBA exam will surely be able to ace the exam in 3 months with a good preparation strategy. They should go through the syllabus of TANCET and note all the important topics of the exam.

The pattern for the GATE exam includes:
Duration: The examination is for a duration of 3 hours. Type of Questions: The exam contains multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type questions. The procedure may follows:
-Selection shall be done on the basis of NATA or JEE Main score. -Seats shall be allotted based on the scores secured n the above-mentioned entrance exams. -Admissions to B.Arch/Plan courses under the category of NRI/PIO/FN will be through Direct Admission of Students Abroad
-If you are offered admission at SPA Delhi, you are required to report to the college and register by filling out and submitting an application form at the college office. There's no compulsion to have a GATE score but if the candidate does have the GATE score that will be beneficial or an additional thing to get into the college.

GATE counselling will be conducted by two different bodies Common Offer Acceptance Portal COAP and Centralised Counselling for M.Tech CCMT for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and CFTIs. There is no centralised counselling process for GATE. Candidates who will qualify the GATE exam can participate in the counselling procedure conducted by these two separate bodies for admission to participating institutes. For state university like Osmania GATE counselling is done by the university itself as per the application received.
