Candidates will be able to check the GCET exam pattern online at dte.goa.gov.in. The detailed information on how the entrance examination will be held can be checked through the exam pattern of GCET. No other mode will be used by the authorities to release the official exam pattern. Important details such as the exam mode, duration, nature of questions, marking scheme and more will be available through the GCET exam pattern. Before preparation, the candidates are advised to check the exam pattern carefully.

GCET paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. For every question, four options will be present, out of which the candidates will have to select the correct answer. While preparing the official GCET question paper, the authorities will refer to the syllabus and will take into consideration the topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates will have to mark the correct answer in the OMR sheet by colouring the option. All questions have to be answered within the allotted duration.

According to the official GCET exam pattern, each section has been allotted a specific duration within with the candidates will have to complete attempting the questions. Each section (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) have been allotted 120 minutes i.e, 2 hours. The candidates will have to attempt 75 objective multiple-choice questions in each section within the duration allotted by the authorities. No extra time will be provided to the candidates. The candidates will have to attempt as many questions as they can so that they have a higher chance of securing the required marks.

The authorities will conduct GCET in English language. No other language will be used to prepare the question paper of GCET. Candidates are advised to prepare themselves to attempt the examination is the official medium as prescribed by the authorities. In case of any problems during the examination, the candidates are requested to seek assistance from the invigilators present in the exam centre. Since the examination is an OMR-based test, the candidates will have to read the question and mark the correct answer out of the available options.

As per the official GCET pattern, the candidates will have to answer a total of 225 multiple-choice questions. The paper is divided into three sections - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will have 75 questions, which will be objective in nature. Candidates will be required to select the correct answer from the four options available for each question. All of the questions have to be answered in the allotted duration. No extra time will be allotted to the candidates.

As per the official GCET exam pattern, the total duration of the entrance examination is 6 hours. Each paper will be 2 hours long in duration. The authorities will conduct the entrance examination in three papers - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In the allotted duration, the candidates will have to attempt 75 multiple-choice questions each. No extra time will be allotted to the candidates. Within the allotted time, the candidates are required to complete the examination.
