No, you do not need to appear for an entrance exam in order to pursue B.Com from SJCC, Bangalore. Admission is based on marks obtained in 10+2. Joseph's College of Commerce for B.Com. The admission is purely based on the marks obtained in 10+2.
St Joseph college fix number of seats as per the various board examinations i.e CBSC, ICSE, and various other state boards. So the Cutoff will depend on the board you are studying in class 12th
CBSE - 95% - 96%
ICSE - 91% - 92%
Andhra Board - 96% - 97%
Karnataka PU - 94%
And you are asking for the Karnataka board so it's 94% and it's conduct classes in two shifts like morning and evening.

The GD would usually carry general topics such as current affairs and GK, but with slight inclination towards tourism. The PI would vary from individual to individual.

Questions in PI could be personalized (about family, about where you come from), general knowledge, recent issues and a couple of technical questions from your educational background etc. GD topics can be general - previous year topics included topics like
- Declining child sex ratio - who are the culprits?
- Demonetization
- Love marriage vs arranged marriage
etc.

To the options you added above, you can consider one more option which is very good and affordable too with amazing amenities. The institution is called LM Thapar School of Management situated in Mohali. It has a well laid MBA course with interesting subjects, course curriculum and a lot of variety in specializations they offer. So, this way you can choose specifically a field/specialisation of your own interest, passion and capability. Their last date has extended till 10th March'2019.
