First, you have to apply for the design colleges entrance exam. There are quite a few colleges in India where you can apply. Two of the best colleges for jewellery designing are:
1-NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology): NIFT don't offer any specific course for jewellery designing, but it offers Bachelors in accessory designing and jewellery designing is a part of that only. NIFT offers 420 seats in accessory design (AD). It's a government college. NIFT follows the course curriculum of FIT, New York. It has a centralized campus placement system. You should appear for NIFT, Pearl Academy, Srishti College of Arts entrance exams to study design as a Bachelor's degree program. Then start working as a jewelry designer in the concerned firm. Otherwise, study from IIJD, Institute of jewelry design or gemology and work in industry.
Would suggest you to learn design and specialize your self in accessory design.
