Topics such as Dental Materials, General Medicine and General Surgery carry approximately 14 marks each in the NEET MDS entrance exam. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) does not release the exact topic-wise weightgae of NEET MDS exam. Moreover, the past year NEET MDS question papers are also not released by NBE. Hence, the exact makrs or weightage prediction is difficult. The approximate weightage mentioned here is based on previous years' student reactions.

JIPMER is ranked five among the top medicine colleges in India in the NIRF rankings 2024. Thus, it is a good institute for medical students. During the three years of the course, 10 months are of peripheral posting and remaining 26 months include ward duties. The institute has designed the course and curriculum that prepare the graduate to handle any challenges at work. As per the NIRF 2024 report of JIPMER Puducherry, the median package offered to PG 3-year candidates stood at INR 24 LPA.

It depends on various factors such as the number of available seats, the competition for those seats, and the category you belong to. to a medical college in India, where admission to undergraduate medical courses is done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). VMMC presently has a better PG seats to UG seats ratio (in SJH, PGIMER RML, ESI, Hindu Rao). By taking UCMS you will although be eligible for MAMC, LHMC and of course UCMS. By taking VMMC you can not apply for above institutes (MAMC, LHMC, UCMS) and vice versa.
