4 years long BE/B Tech programs are offered by select few number of Colleges. Similarly, B Sc programs are also offered by select few number of Colleges.
Biotechnology is one such field that is closely related to Genetic Engineering. So, if you are unable to go for Genetic Engineering course, you may go for B Sc in Biotechnology or BE/B Tech in Biotechnology. After that, you may choose to specialize in Genetics!

Hi Harika,
You can definitely pursue genetic engineering after B.Sc in CBZ if you're referring to B.Tech in genetic engineering as it would require class 12th from PCM for the eligibility criteria which I am assuming you to have it. For Masters in the same, you'll have to consult the institutes you're wishing to study it from.
Feel free to raise more queries.
All the best.

Genetic engineering, also called genetic modification, is the direct manipulation of an organism's genome using biotechnology. It is a set of technologies used to change the genetic makeup of cells, including the transfer of genes within and across species boundaries to produce improved or novel organisms. New DNA is obtained by either isolating and copying the genetic material of interest using molecular cloning methods or by artificially synthesizing the DNA. A construct is usually created and used to insert this DNA into the host organism. The process can also be used to remove, or "knock out", genes. A new DNA can be inserted rando
