Hi,
Preferably you should pursue B.Tech in genetic engineering from Canada, Germany, UK, Singapore etc. as they offer the best training. If you are willing to do it in India, you may go for B.Tech biotech from IITs, BITs, VIT, Manipal, etc.

Hello Sandeep,
Both are the best in their own ways. However, genetics is a rising field and if you want to do research then this is the best. Marine engineering is the best option for those who want a good income and also want to see the world.

Dear Sonal, felt nice to know your interest. Genetic studies are strongly related to human beings, natural effects on born and defects. Bharath University has good ranking, popularity along with its UGC approval. After completing your studies in genetics engineering, you will get placed in big research centre and international organisations like WHO(World health organisation), teaching sector, top hospitals like Birla and even can work in government undertakings or can work abroad as well. Feel free to ask your further queries. I hope it will help.
All the best.

Hi,
You can go for B.Sc in genetics/chemistry/ biology/microbiology or B.Tech in biotechnology to pursue genetics. There could be entrance exams in some states so you need to check for the place of your preference before applying.

Genetic Engineering is an part of biotechnology only. After B.Tech in Biotechnology, you can go for M.Tech in Genetic Engineering. B.Tech is also available in genetic engineering but in very few institutes.
