Dear Shreyans,
If you want to see your career into research specially in genetic part than you should go for msc degree and than M.tech degree or Phd for the further research.
Mba won't help you in research part that deals into management level jobs.

You may opt for B Sc Genetics or a B Sc belonging to the Biology stream and then proceed to do M Sc Genetics Applied Genetics. Later you may do your doctoral or M Phil level of programmes. Some of the colleges or universities offering B Sc Genetics include :

You can do BSc Genetics. This course is offered by very limited colleges in India. You can do BSc is Botany and then specialize in Genetics at postgraduate level.

Genetics is the study of heredity. Genetic scientists research to find out how genetic characteristics are transmitted from one generation to the next. They are involved in pursuing research by identifying and manipulating particular genes in plant, animal and human tissue samples.
How to get there:
1. Class XII- Stream: science with PCB.
2. Graduation- genetics/agro/veterinary sc. /human biology.
3. Post-graduation- MSc in Genetics or PhD.
4. Goal- Genetist.
