Universities allow a Post-Graduation in the subjects, you have studied in Graduation. To do M.Sc in Geography, you must have this subject in Graduation. However, a solution is that you can appear in additional papers of geography graduation subject and do M.Sc Geography.

If you're aiming for civil services exam, then you should combine geography with political science and economics. Or, if you want to pursue geo physics, then you could combine it with maths. If you want to pursue human geography, then take history.

Yes, various universities across India offer honours degree in geography. including many colleges of Delhi University itself. if you score well enough to get in, you definitely should. Other than Delhi University, other universities like BHU and Allahabad University are also excellent alternatives for geography (Hons).

Career options are cartographer, geographical information systems officer, teacher, planning and development surveyor, commercial surveyor, research consultant and town surveyor.
