The cutoff is based at your merit marks in 12th from a recognised board for BA hons in geography you have atleast 45% of marks in your 12th.

If you want to do M.Sc in geography then you must not only have keen interest in geography for your future studies but also the basic knowledge of your subject, related topics, syllabus covered in B.Sc Geography. Otherwise, without any previous knowledge doing M.Sc. In such subject is totally meaningless.

Candidate must have obtained 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. Or 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
