Hello Sudharsun,
Yes, you can apply for both UGC NET and CSIR NET exam. As your post graduation subject Geoinformatics is related to the Geography and Earth Science, so you can appear for UGC NET with Geography subject and CSIR NET Earth Science exam. To apply for the exams you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Sc. If you want to appear for JRF exam then you have to also follow age criteria I. e. For CSIR NET - 28 years (Maximum Age)
For UGC NET 30 Years (Maximum Age)
OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates get the 5 years age relaxation. You can get the detailed information related to exam

The candidate must have passed the relevant undergraduate programme with a minimum of 50% marks from a standard university for admission to Osmania University, Hyderabad. Or
Any graduate including BE/B.Tech. Those candidates who have appeared for the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. 5% supernumerary seats in each course are available to the candidates belongs outside Andhra Pradesh. Placement:

No. Only B.Tech and M.Sc. Are eligible. As u study only about geography. Out side. But B.Tech and M.Sc. Will study deeply.
