Initially, you may expect INR. 40,000 TO INR.50, 000 per month and with few years of experience, it may go up to INR. 75,000 pm. This may vary from individual to individual depending upon the capacity and competency to deliver. The package depends upon the institution from where you have passed out and whether you possess any additional qualification. There is limited scope in India, but countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Canada do have demand for geologist.
