Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 10304 and closing rank was 11592. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 19571 and 20790. Admission to BSc in Exploration Geophysics at IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category they are applying for while checking for cut offs.

The Geology and Geophysics GATE 2024 exam pattern is as follows:
GA questions carry a total of 15 marks. The GA section includes 5 questions of 1 mark each (sub-total 5 marks) and 5 question of 2 marks each (sub-total 10 marks). Apart from GA section which is compulsory, the GG question paper consists of two parts namely Part A and Part B. Part A is compulsory for all the candidates. You need to choose geography as a domain subject in CUET-PG. If you want to study M.Sc. In Geography at BHU, it must be one of the subjects at the graduation level or in CUET-PG. Other than geography, you can choose Environmental Studies or another Science subject, but geography is required to be admitted to this course. You must have a minimum grade point average of 50% in your graduate degree B.A. Or B.Sc. To be eligible to apply to M.Sc. Geography.

Many of the renowned colleges in India offer a master's degree in Geophysics. The annual fee varies from college to college, starting from INR 10,000 to INR 10,00,000. National College, Tiruchirapalli fees also comes under in between this. college do not provide any details about it in online.
