Yes, you have to learn the German language because they will ask you to show the proof of your fluency in the German language. They may tell you to take German language proficiency test.

See, I will suggest you go for Miranda House or Jesus Mary. I will further suggest you to do Diploma in German as it will be very helpful. Try for Christ University, Bangalore too.

Hi Pragam,
Yes you are right, public colleges are free and highly competitive. Because they are free does not mean you can secure an admission there but the opposite. Extremely high academic marks are required to get into German universities. You must also know that some programs and courses may incur a fee, not all is free. Very minimal tuition fee is required in this case. You can refer to this website and learn more about studying in Germany, the various universities, fees, scholarships etc. https://www.daad.in/en/.

The main criteria is high academic percentage, so you got to focus on your studies and score high. Since you are applying for a Master's programme, you are expected to have a very strong research oriented background or at least you must display interest in research. Terrific projects, demonstration of innovative ideas, papers, patents etc. Are very important for a master degree applicant. You should also know some German language, it is not mandatory but still advisable to build your profile. Recommendation letters from your professors, internship supervisors etc. must be excellent.
