To enter into any technical programme a solid background in mathematics is essential. The primary or main eligibility criteria is a very good Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Around 75% is least recommended for consideration by the high ranked universities. High quality projects and research work are also required. An additional English language test is required which is the IELTS. The universities have their IELTS score requirement, some may have 6.5 or some 7 and higher, in UK its usually more than 7 if you are applying for Masters. Very sorry to say but 44% is not a recognised percentage in Germany. In fact not only in Germany yor score will not be accepted by any reputed country and university. You should see private colleges in India if you are in India or check any distance learning college.

It will be a tough choice as both these countries are very popular among students and the universities in both Canada and Germany are very selective and competitive. To make an informed decision as to which country you should choose compare the budget, admission requirements of universities in both countries, your academic profile, your career plans and where you want to work or settle. You must also find out about the stay back options, work permit schemes and job opportunities in your field. You have to search these information and decide accordingly. Lastly, its your own personal choice as to where to study.
