Hello Pooja,
It's indeed great to know your dream of studying in Germany. There are plenty of places where you can do your MS or ME. But, there are many nuances. Hence, I would advise you to approach an agency dealing with sending students to Germany for overcoming these nuances in the process.

Without clearing your backlogs, you won't be able to go to Germany for mechanical engineering, hence clear your backlogs first and then opt for Germany.

Hi, this is something you should be knowing Utkarsh. Please don't study abroad if you don't know what you want to study and why. Mechanical engineering itself has so many branches, identify the area of study you enjoy the most. Sort out your career plans. TUM is one of the most selective and I am afraid that 7.5 CGPA is not enough. To be considered for admissions, you must have a strong research profile, publications, patent work, etc. Strong SOP and LORs would be required. Knowledge of German language and perhaps 1 year research oriented work experience will help.

Hi Rishabh,
For UG courses, you must know German, it is a requirement. For MS courses, it is not always mandatory and you have to check on the university websites for it. Refer to the DAAD India website too for actual and updated requirements.

Hi Akshay, this will depend on your academic grades, extracurricular activities, how you utilized your gap period, etc. You have not provided any concrete information based on which a good answer can be given. You can check the university websites for specific entry requirements, write to the universities and proceed accordingly.

Hi, yes you can apply. Prepare a very strong SOP and go for a goof internship. Your project work will be very crucial. Also see if you can involve yourself in other research work, publications, etc. for a stronger profile. You will also need very good academic percentage. German universities are highly selective.

Hi Vijay, ofcourse it is possible. You must have a good profile, sound academic record, extra curricular activities, very strong SOP, LORs, etc. An average student does not mean a poor student, universities abroad will look at your overall application package not just the marks. Give your best shot, apply on time and follow the deadlines. Research well, check university's website properly and proceed accordingly.
