The procedures for both are slightly different. Germany is not too popular for management studies however, the business schools are extremely competitive. To pursue MBA, applicants must be academically strong, have work experience and must have taken the GMAT or GRE with very good scores. Similar are requirements for Masters in banking, the only exception is they do not require work experience as a mandatory factor.

It is hard to say, if you will get a job. If you have the talent and match the job requirements, you will get one. You need to perform extremely well in your academics and learn German. Network with the right people and upgrade your skills.

Other than that, it is not mandatory. You need to appear for scholarship tests like IELTS or TOEFL. German language certificate could be an added advantage but not mandatory.

Some of the universities you may check for Material Science include TU Chemnitz, University of Stuttgart, University of Marburg, University of Augsburg and TU Bergakademie Freiberg. It really doesn't matter which university is top in Germany, every university is by the way.
