Hi,
You must complete your 10+2 and with good grades and clear IELTS. German universities require 13 years of basic education, so international students have to clear 1st year of their graduation program before applying to German universities. You can read more about the eligibility on DAAD website. You must have German Language Proficiency, complete A1, A2, B1 and B2 level. Similarly to study medicine in France knowledge of French language would be required, although they do not require 13 years education. Every country , university and program have different requirements especially the medicine studies.

Dear Niteen, RWTH Aachen, TH Karlsruhe, University of Augsburg, TU Kaiserslautern, TU Darmstadt, TU Munich and LMU Munich would be the best options. With 60% it is going to be extremely tough. Best Wishes.

Hi Arshdeep, you will be the best person to answer your question, nobody else would know what you are aiming for. If you have decided where to study you must decide what to study as well. Would also like to inform you that Germany is a good choice for engineering and Science quite contrary to your field.
Go through the DAAD website, they have the requirements listed. You must have an outstanding academic track record and an IELTS of 6 to 6.5 or higher. Fluency in German language will be required if you are looking for undergraduate studies.

How much you earn depends majorly on your current qualification, knowledge, the region, area of work and so on. In larger cities such as Munich the earnings will be higher so will be your living expenses. A rough estimate would be around 6 to 10 euros per hour. Remember the limitations you need to follow as an international student, you cannot work more than 20 hours a week.

Dear Rajat, Germany is cheaper than most countries, the national universities are free, all undergraduate programs are free, living expenses are considerable, tuition fee for graduate programs are low. The reason why the country is so competitive is because the education system is affordable and they admit only brilliant students, with no compromise on the education quality.

Dear Abhishek, Feststellungsprufung is the assessment test for gaining entry into German universities. You must enroll into a Studienkollege firstly, complete the Studienkollege courses and clear the Feststellungsprufung. Studienkollege for your information can be taken only in Germany in a German university. You can visit university assist, daad website or any university for this information. Take a look at www.worldstudent.com/uk/studyabroad/germany/3b.shtml

Yes, German industry is oriented towards academics and research, if that is your goal Germany is a good choice. Post study work permit and residency permit schemes are easier than most countries. You must anyways get a job in a field related to your education on your own grounds, no university will guarantee you placement. Good academic track record, research skills, german language knowledge are things you must focus on.

2. Successfully clearing the IIT Joint Entrance Examination for admission to courses in technology and natural sciences or

There was a MOU 3-4 years back but nothing is there currently. However, if you are interested for any such thing then you can find out a relevant summer school, convince your batch-mates and the faculty and go on your own expenses. For instance I and 4 other batch mates of mine are going to Czech Republic for a summer school with jamias approval but we are financing the entire thing on our own.
