Hi Tarun,
You will require IELTS, and if the university requires a German language proficiency score, you will need to take a German language test too. But, nowadays most Masters are taught in English itself. Your admission chance looks dicey, your percentile is good, but not too good for German universities, so you will face stiff competition. You will require some excellent projects, awards, internship, international experience is recommended, publications etc. LOR and SOP will also be evaluated. For a university list you can visit DAAD website or DAAD India website.

Hello Aashik,
You have asked a very interesting but pertinent query. Whether to do Masters in Canada for Germany? Both the answers have pros and cons. In Canada, the advantage is that the medium of instruction is English and it is convenient for students from India. In addition, Canada is reasonably well industrialized and getting jobs after post-graduation is not difficult at all. On the other hand, Germany is considered as the leading country for mechanical engineering. Hence the courses for post-graduation studies are well suited for mechanical engineers. However one needs to know German language as in majority of the cases medium of

Hello Aashik,
Yes, you are reasonably right. Majority of the institutions in Germany expect you to be fluent in German language and hence the language of teaching invariably is German. So, if you are thinking of doing MS in Germany you better start learning German language right now. Of course these days, there are few colleges in Germany which teach in English also but they are few and not very recommendable. The best course of action for you which I suggest is doable and better for you will be to start learning German immediately and as you progress in the language you will gain confidence and will be able to do your studies in Germa

Hi,
You can report your IELTS scores to many universities, it is obvious a student won't apply to just one university but to several to have maximum chances. However, you cannot do MS and MBA both from two different universities!

Hi, Please see University of Munich, University of Bamburg, Goethe-University Frankfurt. Other universities can also offer direct admission depending on many conditions. Your previous degree must also be listed in Anabin category for you to apply without university-Assist. Check with DAAD also. The requirements also vary from country to country, students from India may be required to apply only through university-Assist.
