For European countries, you need to clear the GOC (General Optical Council) exam and register yourself with GOC as well. As a pre requisite, to appear for the same you have to get registration of Optometry Council of India

Hi,
US and Canada will be good, Germany is into academics, so if your GPA isn't great chances are less. But, give a try. US universities are more into holistic approach, they don't have importance to just one parameter so looks better for you. Also your SAT score is good. Just check with the universities for double UG programs or double major requirements.

You can always pursue your Masters in mechanical engineering from University in Germany. In fact, almost all Nations across Europe are providing Red Carpet for the students of other Nations to come and study in there colleges and Universities. Of course, there are some restrictions and some entrance exams somewhere you have to clear and pass. These are the nuances in the whole process which one must understand. In view of this, I would strongly advise you to go to an agency which deals with sending students for post graduation in engineering abroad and particularly in Germany for success in your attempt.

Hello, you should have completed Bachelors in mechanical related courses with more than 65 percent. You will have to appear for IELTS or TOEFL and also for GRE exam. Though German language is not mandatory but it would be good if you complete German A1 level.

Hi AAdil, many UG programs in Germany are free of cost. You only need to bear the living expenses. Some programs may cost around 500 Euro per semester. Yes, you can do part time job while working. It is usually 20 hours or less a week.

Hi, in order to pursue Master's degree from universities. You need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests:
1. GRE.
2. TOEFL or IELTS. For admission in Master's degree in American universities you need to have GRE score of 300 plus, IELTS score of 7 with no individual band below 6.5 or TOEFL score of 90 with no band less than 20.
