Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology admissions are entirely based on the merit of the last qualifying exams of Class 12/ graduation for respective courses. Candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements before applying for their desired programme. The admission process of GJMIT includes multiple steps such as fulfilling basic eligibility criteria, applying for the respective courses and qualifying for the selection rounds. The main three step GJMIT admission process for athe UG & PG courses are as follows:Apply online: To apply for UG & PG courses, candidates can apply online on the official website of the college for their respective courses.Selection Round:  The selection for all the courses is entirely merit-based. Candidates are offered direct admission based on their scores obtained in the last qualfying exam of previous academic, followed by a PI round.Final Admission: After the final selection, candidates must pay a course fee to confirm admission.

At the undergraduate level, GJIMT offers BCA, BBA,  and BCom courses to students. At the PG level, the college offers MBA and MCA courses to students. MBA is provided in various specialisations such as Marketing, Human Resources Management (HRM), Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations Management, and Business Analytics. Apart from this, GJIMT also offers BBA, BCom and BCA through 2+2 pathway programmes. The duration of these courses is four years. In these courses, the first two year are taught with foundational subjects at the college, whereas the remaining two years are transferred to Yorkville University, Canada.
