Students looking to enrol in the BTech course offered at GIET University need to have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board. Additionally, the aspiring candidates need to either appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university (GIETEE) or provide a valid score of other accepted exams, such as JEE Mains/ OJEE. The eligibility criteria for MBA at GIET University is a graduation degree of a minimum of 3 years duration with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognised university or institute. The institute admits students through the All India MBA Entrance Test, CMAT/ CAT / MAT / XAT / OJEE/ GIETEE. Students with qualified GIETEE exam are eligible to be admission to the BTech programme at GIET University. However, the candidate’s DOB should fall on and after 1997 to apply for GIETEE exam in order to get admission to GIET Gunupur University.

In order to get admission in MCA course at GIET University, students need to qualify the last exam. Apart from this, BCA or equivalent degree with 50% aggregate from any recognised University or Institute is required. However, candidates who have completed class 12 or BA with maths, BSc, BCom or Graduation (45% aggregate in case of reserved category) are eligible for the course.

The admission for MBA course at GIET University should qualify the last examination. Admission shall make through rank obtained in XAT/CMAT/MAT/ CAT/XAT/OJEE. Apart from this, 50% seats are reserved for OJEE counselling process and rest 50% seats will be filled up by counselling by GIET University on the rank obtained in GIETEE.

To get admission in MBA course in GIET University for the year 2023, the candidate need to be graduate with regular course. Apart from this, students need to obtain at least 50% aggregate in the last qualifying exam (45% for reserved category).
