The university has recorded a 97% hiring rate during GIET Gunupur placements 2023. Furthermore, a total of 1,043 offers were made during placements 2023. Many top recruiters visited the campus such as IBM, Capgemini, TCS, PwC among others during the placement drive 2023.

However, as per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 4.71 LPA and INR 5.10 LPA during the placements 2022, respectively. Many top recruiters visited the campus such as IBM, Capgemini, TCS, PwC among others during the placement drive 2023.
