Candidates should also describe howundertaking the programme will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Recipients of this award willbe expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.3) Women in Business Scholarship:Open to: All female applicants who can demonstrate leadership potential in aglobal business environment both with exceptional academic merits and an established track record of excellence intheir chosen career.Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertakingthe programme of their choice will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should alsodescribe how their academic merits and career success has provided them with leadership potential. Recipients ofthis award will be expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.4) Academic Merit Scholarship:Open to: Students who either attained outstanding results in their previousacademic programmes or achieved a very high GMAT score, while also demonstrating highly developed socialskills. From these students GISMA would expect valuable contribution to class discussions and team building.Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertakingthe programme of their choice will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should alsodescribe how their academic merits and social aptitude have provided them with leadership potential. Recipients ofthis award will be expected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.5) Rector’s Scholarship:Open to: All Students with an exceptional academic or professionalbackground that will contribute to the diversity of the class and are willing to share their experiences for the benefitof the class. In addition this scholarship might be granted to students from an otherwise underrepresented region ornation.Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertakingthe programme of their choice will affect their career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should alsodescribe how their academic or career experiences has provided them with leadership potential and how theirintercultural skills will contribute to the international setting of the programme. Recipients of this award will beexpected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.6) Family Scholarship:Open to: Immediate and extended family of both current and former students, including partners. Applicants must meet entry requirements of the programme to which they are applying.Candidates will be considered based on their Qualifying Statement where applicants will describe how undertakingthe programme of their choice will affect career, educational, and personal goals. Candidates should also describehow their family member’s experience at GISMA affected their choice to apply. Recipients of this award will beexpected to act as ambassadors for GISMA and assist with marketing efforts once awarded.
