Aerospace engineering, computer Science and engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, computer Science and engineering (Internet of Things), and electronics and communication engineering are a few of the specializations.Over 90% of students were placed at the GITAM School of Technology Hyderabad placements in 2023, while the highest package offered was INR 32 LPA during the GITAM University Hyderabad positions in the same year. Based on the NIRF rankings and general assumption by the public, KLU is considered as the best and better than Gitam Hyderabad as it is the oldest university as compared to Gitam and most importantly the placements and alumni Network are much stronger in KLU than Gitam.

The selection of candidates for BCom at GITAM Hyderabad Business School is done basis of the scores obtained by them in the university-level entrance exam, namely the GAT (GITAM Admission Test) followed by an interview. Additionally, students must also fulfil the eligibility requirements or else the admission is considered invalid even after selection.

Candidates seeking admission shall have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate or 5.0 CGPA from a recognised school. Additionally, the students awaiting results of Board examinations are also eligible to apply. At the time of admission, candidates shall have the pass certificates original and photocopies as well.

As per the annual report 2022, the highest package offered was INR 12.79 LPA during placement 2022. The highest package of INR 8.19 LPA in 2021. However, the highest package INR 16.75 LPA was offered in 2020.NOTE: The placement stats mentioned above is the overall placement record. Hence, it is not MBA specific.

As of now, the application for all three courses is on-going. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official college website, i.e., GITAM School of Business, Hyderabad campus.
