Here are the eligibility criteria:
Certificate Language Course Eligibility:
1. For the certificate courses in foreign language, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45 %.
2. Admission to the Diploma courses will be on the basis of merit. Diploma Language Course Eligibility:
1. For admission to Diploma courses in foreign languages at DU, candidates must have passed the certification exam of Delhi University.
2. The admission will be on the basis of merit.

Learning foreign language has no concern with doing MBA or any other course unless you do your MBA abroad in the language you learn. It has nothing to do with a course. You can learn foreign language for better career options as it has a lot of scope further. Side by side you can carry on with MBA too.

It is good you are applying for the short-term course in DU. The only eligibility to apply for this is that you have to compulsorily be a student of DU. The classes take place thrice a week usually and begin after 3 in the noon.
