For B.E./B.Tech at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, eligibility criteria are: PCM – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 45% aggregate, and 40% for SC/STs in 10+2 standard. The students must appear in JEE Mains exam and they have to clear the cutoff of and college requirment for the admission in this college.

Many scholarships are available at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya to cater the needs of deserving students.  Some scholarship like Utrakhand State Scholarship in which the full fee exemption and others are central sector scholarship, GKV merit scholarships and many scholarship which is based on need or the score of entrance exams.

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV) has a placement cell that conducts placement drives annually, inviting prospective companies to employ graduating students from various departments. The college only provide 80 to 90% and the recuriters are Infosis, Hum, TCS and many companies visit this college approximately 60+ Companies visit this college.
