The B, Des programme offers specialisation in Apparel Design, Environment & Space Design, Product Design, and Accessories & Jewelery Design. The candidate can select their programme of study at the time of admission.Admission to the above courses will be through the GLS DAT entrance exam. Note that during seat allotment, the candidate with higher merit rank will be given preference.

The GLS DAT exam will be conducted in both online and offline modes. The candidate can select the preferred mode of exam at the time of filling out the online application form. When preparing for the exam, make sure that you carefully go through the detailed exam pattern and question paper structure.

Candidates are required to pay INR 2,000 as registration fee, Candidates can pay the fee through online mode or through Cash/Demand Draft or Cheque such that it is from a nationalised bank and is drawn in favour of “GLS Institute of Design” and is payable at Ahmedabad.Note that the registration fee once paid will not be refunded.

GLS University, Ahmedabad is responsible for drafting the eligibility criteria for the GLS DAT 2024 exam.No, there is no upper or lower age limit to appear for GLS DAT exam. So, candidates of any age group could apply provided they met the academic criteria prescribed by the institute.

GLS Institute of Design has not specified any syllabus for GLS DAT. However, some topics that aspirants should consider studying are Colour Terminology, Optical Illusion, Elements & Principles of Design, Picture Analysis, Drawing Fundamentals, Understanding Light & Shade etc.The candidate needs to strictly follow the official exam pattern.

GLS DAT eligibility criteria for design course is Class 12 pass. For Integrated M.Des course, candidates should hold an undergraduate degree. It is important that the candidate meets the prescribed eligibility criteria. Or else the candidate will be disqualified.

The registration process for GLS DAT 2025 is currently OPEN.The last date to register for the exam is Jan 16, 2025. Candidates met the prescribed eligibility criteria have to register themselves on the official website of GLS Institute of Design.

Never opt for enrollment in the B.Des Fashion Design degree course at UPES Dehradun for the following reasons -They don't follow UGC AICTE guidelines in the recording of students' class attendence in roll call registers.They don't follow UGC AICTE guidelines rules for the examination system like appointment of external examiners outside Uttarakhand state or two internal examiners outside UPES in Uttarakhand state.The faculty members and head don't have Ph.D. degree which is essential for being lecturers as per UGC 2022and NEP rules 2020.The HOD herself is vindictive to students and all in all to decide who will pass and who will not.Th

The placement report for the academic year 2022-2023 is yet to be release on the official website. However, as per the students’ reviews on Shiksha page, GLS Institute of Design recorded 65% placements annually.
