Hi Reshma,
GMAT preparation takes around 5 months. The minimum required time is 3 months. But this will vary from individual to individual. People with job and little time to devote to studies will require more than 5 months to prepare.

Just start with the road map and start preparing on the topics which are categorized as important and you are weak at. Then move to other important

Hi,
If the program you are applying to requires these tests then certainly you must prepare. Considering Harvard and Oxford, remember they will evaluate your overall profile and you must be an allrounder, mere taking these tests alone won't help. Perhaps you can share your desired program of study for better guidance.

The syllabus remains the same-GMAT consists of Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning Section, Quantitative Section and Verbal Section. Refer to MBA.com for latest books and study materials and practice as much as you can. It is recommended you follow latest study materials.
It depends on individual's ability and previous knowledge to prepare for any entrance test. The best way is to take a mock test and find your strengths and gaps. Then you may start working on a plan and coaching. There are many options available these days like online tutoring, offline classes or a mix of both. You may take 3 to 6 months and do take a l

Hello Nikhil,
