Percentile refers to the score that is allotted to an individual basis the performance of the total number of students appearing for the exam. Percentile is followed in all major competitive programs to rank students based on their performance in comparison to the others appearing for it.

CAT The core sections of CAT examination include Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability. The exam is for 140 minutes, with 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section. This is the exam conducted by Iims and is accepted by most B-Schools. XAT The core sections are Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and Essay & General Awareness. The exam duration is 2 hours 40 minutes. Yes, GMAT is tough as compared to CAT. With good GMAT score, you can definitely get admission in top-notch foreign universities.

CAT scores above 80 percentile is sufficient to get into good colleges except the IIMs. I scored 92.3 percentile in CAT and made it to Doon Business School, Dehradun. The ROI of DBS, Dehradun is the best in the country with 108 companies visiting the campus last year.

No, you are not required to clear any entrance exam to get admission in S P Jains Executive MBA Global programme. It is an 18 months Mumbai based programme, classes for which are held on weekends. You are only required to carry 5+ years of work experience. They do not require any GMAT or CAT score. All you need to do is to fill an application form. Once your application gets shortlisted, you will be invited for an evaluation process, which consists of an Aptitude Test & Personal Interview with the selection panel. Don't know about GMAT but CAT exam is held every year from October to December. CAT is only a 1 day exam.

You need a minimum of 60% for admission in foreign universities. GMAT score will help, but not assured.
