1) Make sure your UG degree is accepted
2) Find out whether you need relevant work experience
3) Complete the required language proficiency tests
4) Have a plan for your finances

Top business schools like Harvard, UCLA etc may accept freshers (without work experience), if the applicant is extraordinarily bright. But, you won't find any recognized B-School without GMAT. If there is no GMAT requirement, it is not a top business school and neither accredited internationally.

In India, the colleges like Indian School of Business Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade accept a valid GMAT score.

A GMAT Score of 600+ is a safe side score to get a call for BITS Pilani. However, it is a profile based selection. So, keep your hopes high. You may get a call in the 2nd list. All the best.
