It is designed to get the admission for an undergraduate degree in the different central universities, mainly into courses of BA, BSc and other arts, Science and commerce subjects. GNM usually requires a specific entry through nursing entrance exams of nursing institutes or states, or universities. The eligibility for GNM is mostly based on the completion of 12th grade in a Science stream and qualifying the entrance exam of the concerned institutions offering the program. Thus, CUET does not apply to the admissions in GNM.
