Admission to Goa University is conducted through NEET MDS scores. Based on the scores, the Goa University cutoff 2024 is released for the candidates. Goa University conducts a Common Law Admission Test (GU-CLAT) for admission to BA LLB programme. Besides, candidates must also Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST and 42% aggregate for OBC) for BA LLB admission. Goa University conducts a Qualifying Entrance Test or QET for admission to ME courses. QET is a two hour test of 100 marks. Aspirants who qualify QET are shortlisted for admission to ME programme. Besides, candidates must also complete graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for ME.

Candidates need to secure at least 60% aggregate in the qualifying exam in Arts, Commerce and Management or a minimum 65% aggregate in the Science stream to apply for the Merit Scholarship offered at the university.
