Gondwana University admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The university considers entrance exams such as MAH CET, MHT CET, CAT, MAT, JEE Main, etc. for admission to BE, MBA, BPharm and other courses. The merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam is considered for BCom, MCom, BCA, BBA, etc. Once selected, the university releases a merit list on the university website.

Gondwana University may provide direct admission to second year of a few programme. However, the regular admission is entrance or merit-based. The university considers entrance exams such as MAH CET, MHT CET, CAT, MAT, etc. for admission to specific programmes. Once selected, aspirants need to participate in counselling and seat allotment round for final admission.

At the UG level, Gondwana University offers a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) course to its students. Admission to B.A. at Gondwana University does not require any entrance exams. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 with 50% from a recognised education board can be admitted to B.A. at Gondwana University.

In order to be admitted to JBIMS, applicants must score in the 99.97–99.98 percentile on the MAH MBA CET in 2024. The MBA CET cutoffs for the most prestigious MBA programs in Maharashtra, including JBIMS, SIMSREE, Welingkar Institute, PUMBA, etc., range from 95 to 99 percentiles. Exams MAH CET/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT is accepted for admission to the MBA course at the university. A bachelors' degree of minimum 3-Years after 10+2 examination, from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible, provided they have a certificate from the head of the college. A valid cut-off score of CAT/GMAT. PGCET Passing Marks for MBA admission: The minimum marks to be attained should be at least 50 percent (for candidates belonging to the general category) and 45 percent (for candidates belonging to the SC / ST category).

No, B.Tech at Gondwana University is not at all expensive; the course fee is INR 20000 for three years at Gondwana University. Loans are not needed. Course fee depends upon category. Scholarship options are also available for students.
