Goverment College of Engineering, Thanjavur has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.
Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

Goverment College of Education, Aurangabad has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityM.EdCandidate must have obtained at least mentioned marks or an Equivalent Grade in any one of the following programme (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories from the State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ/DT*- NT (A)*, NT (B)*, NT (C)*, NT (D)*, OBC*, SBC* Categories having Caste Certificate, Caste Validity and Valid Non Creamy Layer Certificate* valid up to 31 March 2024 ) (i) B.Ed. (ii) B.A.-B.Ed./, B.Sc.-B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated Course) (iii) B.El.Ed. (iv) D.El.Ed./D.T.Ed. with an Undergraduate Degree with 50% marks in Each Course (Minimum 45% Marks in case of Backward Class Categories from the State of Maharashtra only).
Candidates who are Appearing/ have appeared for the Qualifying Examination will be eligible for Admission only if they produce the provisional/Degree Certificate of the Qualifying Examination.B.EdCandidates who wants to take admission in the English Medium Colleges will have to appear for English Language Content Test (ELCT) also.
There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-B.Ed. CET Examination in the Academic Year 2023-2024. Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2023.
