Government College of Engineering Amravati has a refund policy for tuition fees paid in consideration of cancellation of admission. If a candidate cancels his or her admission within seven days, the claimant receives a 90% refund of the total paid fees. The minimum of ?500 should have to be paid, however. Between eight to fifteen days, 25% of the total paid fees is refunded, and between sixteen to thirty days, 30% of the total paid fees is returned. Direct admission is not available to the students at Government College of Engineering Amravati. The candidate needs to secure valid scores in national entrance examinations, such as JEE Main or MHT CET, in order to secure admission for the B.Tech courses. Once the scores have been obtained, students sit for the CAP, where seats are then allocated on the basis of merit and preferences. For M.Tech admissions, students have to qualify in GATE and, similarly, go through counseling. So, satisfying the entrance exam cut-off is a must to get into this college.
