Government College of Engineering (GCOEA), Amravati, is an autonomous institute and is affiliated with Amravati University. The College has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Just for the record, I passed from government Engineering College, Amravati by taking Electrical Engineering branch and so obviously I have a bias.
