Around 79% of students get placed on campus. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA to 9 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Top recruiter is TCS. So overall the placement of GCELT in Computer Science is good and one can apply to the college.

The placements for CSE department is dependent on your college
If you go in IIT'S and NIT'S, top IIIT (Gwalior, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Lucknow, Allahabad) it's placement in CSE is above 20+ lacks
But private colleges is not good for average placement.

Chances are slim but you can still keep it as an option while filling for other preferences. For OBC- A, it closes around 10-12k, General merit rank till round 3. You may even try for Decentralized counseling that happens after Round 3 admissions. If you wish to join any college this year itself then keep more options added.

Direct admission to 2nd year is done only through JELET entrance exam. If you score a good rank in it then only you can get the chance to take admission.

Hello,
For B.Tech lateral entry in the 2nd year, you must have a score of 60% in the same branch of Diploma. You can't get admission through class 12th percentage in the lateral entry. You must have a Diploma degree with the same branch which you want to opt for in B.Tech.
