In general let me tell you that, these days, government colleges too have placements cell in place and many companies do visit these colleges during placements season. However there are some independent agencies including government, which do this work. You can check on internet about the ranking of these two colleges. Hello Ruchira Chandrakant, I am afraid that ranking in JEE Mains examination is if no use for seeking admission in engineering colleges in Maharashtra. This is so since admissions are based on performance in MHT CET examination. However students from outside Maharashtra can seek admission against All India Quota, based on ranking in JEE Mains.
