Yes, admission to Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) for B.E./B.Tech courses under other entrance test scores is possible without KEAM, however, provided one qualifies in recognised other entrance tests.JEE Main: Candidates who have qualified in JEE (Main) may be considered for admission according to the qualification norms.Management Quota: Depending on the policies of the state government, a few seats may be available under the Management Quota; most admissions are via KEAM.For details relating to the latest admission procedure and eligibility criteria, visit the official website.

The selection to B.E./B.Tech at Government College of Engineering, Kannur is done based on the following criteria:The candidate should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories).Entrance Exam Admission to the B.E./B.Tech course is mainly based on the KEAM conducted by the Government of Kerala. For some categories, the admission is also done on the basis of scores obtained in JEE Main.Merit-Based: The final selection is on the basis of the performance by the candidate in the entrance test and sometimes, even academic credentials.

The scores obtained at JEE Main can also be considered in certain categories.For PG (M.Tech): B.Tech or equivalent degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for OBC/SC/ST candidates).
