Government College of Engineering Nagpur, was started in 2016 with 5 UG Engineering Programmes under the administrative control of Higher and Technical Education Department, Govt. of Maharashtra. The Institute is affiliated to RTM Nagpur University Nagpur. Within a short span of time, GCOEN has established its own identity not only in the Vidarbha region but also in the Maharashtra State. The institute is spread in Green Campus of 11.87 acre in New Khapari, MIHAN, Nagpur. Every department had allocated space in Main building and Annex Building. The boys and girls hostel of 200 and 100 capacity respectively is placed in campus itself.  The state of art Gymnasium is also available to students. A play ground on 4 acre land area is available to play various outdoor games.The placement of the students reached near to 70% which includes a the highest package of Rs. 44.0 Lacs as offered to one of the final year students.
