According to the NIRF 2023 report, the median package offered to BTech and M.Tech students at GECA in 2022 was INR 6.5 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively. In comparison, the median package offered to UG and PG students at BAMU Aurangabad in 2022 was INR 3.36 LPA and INR 2.52 LPA, respectively. GECA also has a higher placement rate than BAMU Aurangabad. Mostly all government colleges has only two number of seats allocated per classroom 1). 75 2).150 . Mostly general branches has 150 seats and core branches has 75 . So it depends on the specific field you choose.

No, you cannot join Government College of Engineering in Aurangabad directly without meeting the eligibility criteria and going through the admission process. Admission to the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad is primarily entrance and merit-based. Candidates must be qualified in Class 12 with required aggregate marks and must obtain a valid score in MHT-CET Entrance Exam. The college also accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its BTech programs.
