Admission to M.Tech at Government College of Technology (GCT) is done based on the scores obtained in graduation and the CEETA exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed graduation with at least 50% marks (45% of SC/ST candidates) in any relevant field (B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. Degree) from any recognized university/institute.

The eligibility criteria for admission to M.Tech at Government College of Technology is with reference to the TANCET exam scorecard.The student needs to appear for the TANCET exam and pass it with minimum 50%, the scorecards are needed to be uploaded and then rank list is announced according to which the cutoff list is released. The student also needs to have minimum of 50% marks in graduation level.

Yes, the college is a good option for the engineering students to take admission in its various offered courses of B.Tech and M.Tech. The colllege is affordable, provides exposure to its students, provides decent placements and job opportunities along with internship opportunities. The college ranking is also decent as follows :- GCT B.Tech ranking by NIRF is 160 out of 300 colleges in India in 2022 and it was 128 out of 300 colleges in India in 2021.It stands at 160th rank out of 300 in IndiaIt stands at 30th rank in Tamil NaduThe college is affordable and the fess is INR 2 lakhs to pursue the course.

Yes, fees is only refunded by Government College of Technology if admission is withdrawn within the allotted time frame prior to the start of the course. The application cost is not refunded. So, it depends on students when he decides to withdraw.

Government College of Technology has a very good placement record. Many good MNCs visit campus and offers very attractive packages. Companies like Cognizant, Tata, Bosch, Tata,  TCS, CTS, HCL,  Bosch, Tata elxi, Cognizant, etc. visit campus regularly. More than 40+ companies visits campus for placement.Average package vary from INR 5LPA -7LPA depending upon course and specialisation.

Under Btech, Government College of Technology provides a variety of specializations. According to preference and TNEA rank, additions and branches are distributed. The entire cost is about 2.2 lakhs, which is really cheap for a B.Tech programme.

Yes, TNEA is enough for B.Tech admissions in Government College of Technology.Just make sure to complete required eligibility for pursuing B.Tech like passing 10+2 exam with recognised board. Candidate must have scored minimum 55% in their board exams.Also you should score good marks in TNEA to clear cutoff for GCT.

TNEA rank is used as the foundation for selection. Candidates can apply for TNEA till 4 June. Based on TNEA Rank, admission to GCT alloted.The candidates can choose their courses according to their state-wise ranking, which is determined by their intermediate marks as reported by the Tamil Nadu government's Department of Education.
