No, normally there are no direct admissions to Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore for B.E. / B.Tech programs. Admissions are normally conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). Candidates will be selected mainly based upon 12th standard marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also based on counseling sessions based on the TNEA rank.
