Normally, candidates cannot get direct admission into Government College of Engineering, Kannur (GCEK) for B.E./B.Tech programs because admissions are mainly through KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) entrance exam or JEE Main scores. But there are management quota seats with specific conditions which might apply, and those are very rare; besides, they are bound by government regulations. For M.Tech, direct admission is possible on the basis of GATE scores or based on an institute process. However, these seats are also limited.
