The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts various examinations for different positions within the Indian Railways. The syllabus varies depending on the specific exam. Below is an overview of the latest syllabi for two prominent RRB exams:RRB Group D Syllabus 2025Subjecrs:1.computer based test:General Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences of the 10th standard level.Mathematics: Number system, decimals, fractions, LCM, HCF, ratio and proportion, percentages, mensuration, time and work, time and distance, simple and compound interest, profit and loss, elementary algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, coding and decoding, mathematical operations, relationships, syllogism, jumbling, Venn diagrams, data interpretation, and sufficiency.General Awareness and Current Affairs: Current events, Indian geography, history, polity, economy, culture, and general science.2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying in nature, assessing physical capabilities.3. Document Verification/Medical Examination: Final stages for qualifying candidates.

The following criteria must be fulfilled by candidates to be qualified for NDA:If the candidate arrived in India before January 1, 1962, to settle there permanently, they must be an Indian citizen, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee. Foreign nationals who possess legitimate certificates issued by the Indian government may be eligible.The age range for candidates should be 16.5 to 19.5 years old when the course starts. For instance, applicants for the 2025 NDA exam must have been born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009 (inclusive).Candidates must have passed or be preparing for their Class 12th test in any of the following subjects from an approved board: science, commerce, or the arts.Candidates for the Air Force and Navy Wings must have finished their Class 12 education, or be taking the exam, with mathematics and physics as required courses.single Male candidates may only apply to take the NDA exam.Candidates must fulfil the NDA's medical and physical requirements. This covers particular needs for weight, height, and vision. After passing the written exam, the standards are assessed during the medical examination at the Selection Centre.The Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews the written portion of the NDA exam. Candidates are tested on topics like English, general ability, and mathematics in the written exam.

B.Tech students who rely on spectacles may apply for the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam with successful completion of medical standards. Candidates at the NDA can apply for admission with spectacles if their vision stays within the established vision parameters based on medical standards.Candidates need 6/6 far-sightedness with one eye and 6/9 far-sightedness with the second eye for distant vision according to the minimum standards.The medical selection criteria allow refractive errors between -1.5 and +1.5. People with extreme refractive errors cannot qualify for admission into the program.Candidates need to get approved by the Armed Forces Medical Services during their medical examination for meeting their set medical requirements.
