Direct Admission B.Sc. Medical care is not available in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Chandigarh. For eligibility, a candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects, with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC candidates). Applicants will then have to appear for the GMCH Joint Entrance Test (GCET), which assesses the knowledge and skills for various nursing courses, including B.Sc. Nurses. A merit list is prepared for the eligible candidates and counseling is conducted based on their position in the merit list and availability of seats for seats in B.Sc.
