The fee for various courses is also available on the GMCH website but to provide you with an overview of the same the fee for various courses is as follows -:B.Sc. (4 courses) - 28.7 K - 38.3 KMBBS (1 course) - 1.1 LMD (20 courses) - 4.5 LBOPTM (1 course) - 38.3 KMS (4 courses) - 4.5 LDM (3 courses) - 1 LMaster of Surgery (1 course) - 74 K

Not just GMCH but to get a seat in any medical college, first, ne has to clear NEET. NEET is certainly a challenging and a competitive examination. The admission overall depends on your score in NEET and due to high demand of medical education, the availability of seats is also limited. But it certainly depends on one's determination, willingness, preparation and score they get.

Government Medical College And Hospital, Chandigarh is ranked among the top medical colleges in the country. In 2023 it has been ranked 32 out of 50 in india and 2 position in Chandigarh. The College is famous for its undergraduate medical programs (MBBS). It has high qualified faculty and best infrastructure .The college provides facilities for conducting research activities relating to different specialties, as and when required.

No, you cannot get into Government Medical College And Hospital, Chandigarh without NEET. NEET UG is a mandatory exam for admission to a medical college. Which college is better certainly depends on personal choices and goals, both the universities are excellent and unique in their own way. Dr. Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College MD cutoff 2023 for MD in Anaesthesiology was 15596 for EWS and 30962 for PWD category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET PG, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

With a NEET score of 479, it may be challenging to get admission to most of the government or semi-government medical colleges in India. It may differ from state to state and college to college depending on their seat matrix, reservation policy, previous year trends, etc. However, based on some previous year data Students who score above 550 have a better chance of being admitted to a government college for MBBS, according to patterns from the previous year. This indicates that the NEET score minimum for MBBS at Government or semi government College is 550 this score is the minimum for getting admission in good college
