As per my suggestion, taking admission in private institute, and next year give GPAT once again.

1. Candidates must be holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in respective discipline according to the course for which they want to apply.
2. They must have at least secured 60% or 6.75 GPA (55 percent or 6.25 for SC /ST candidates and 50 percent or 5.75 GPA for PH candidates) aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
3. They should also have a valid GATE or NET or GPAT score.

Only IT graduates with 8.0 or more CPI/CGPA are exempted from GPAT qualification. Go through the link below:
