Dear aspirant, GPAT 2024 Preparation can be started by going through the exam pattern and syllabus. GPAT Syllabus consists of a total of 19 subjects which are further divided into various sub-topics. Of all the subjects, Pharmacology carries the maximum weightage. Around 25% to 30% of questions are framed from this section. To improve the performance for GPAT 2022, candidates can solve GPAT Sample Papers. For the preparation, candidates need to focus on the numerical problems as around 4 to 5 numerical questions are framed each year. Based on the higher secondary syllabus, some fundamental questions from the section of organic and physical Chemistry are asked in the GPAT Exam. With the help of a good GPAT Preparation Strategy, candidates can excel in the exam. GPAT Preparation of Pharmacognosy: There are many theoretical sections in this subject. Candidates need to go through all the sections and note down all the important points. It is helpful for last-minute revision. As per the analysis from the previous year's question, most of the questions came from the section of Senna, Morphine, and Vinca. It is important to read all the basic concepts of the drugs in order to understand their features and effects. It is advised to focus on Pharmacognosy to get good marks in GPAT 2024. GPAT Preparation of Pharmacology As per the feedback from the student, this section is considered as easy and interesting. This section carries a good weightage in GPAT. All candidates are advised to go through the section drugs interaction and mechanisms. Candidates are advised to use acronyms to memorize the name of the drugs. Some examples for GPAT 2024 are given below. Semisynthetic derivatives: Atropine Methonitrate, Homatropine, Hyoscine butyl bromide, Ipratropium bromide, Tiotropium Bromide (AHITH) Quaternary compounds: Propantheline, Clidimium, Oxyphenonium, Pipenzolate methyl bromide, Isopropamide, Glycopyrrolate (PCO PIG) Important topics in this section are- Oncology (drugs for chemotherapy, upcoming technologies, etc. ) Neuropharmacology and rare diseases Cardiovascular and Blood products.

88% on the GPAT is a good score, but entrance to the MBA programme at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) may not be assured with that score alone.  DPSRU offers admissions to M.Pharma. and MBA Pharmacy based on the marks secured in the GPAT examination. Candidates must meet the DIPSAR MBA eligibility criteria, appear and qualify for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), and then attend group discussions and personal interviews.  The GPAT 2024 cut off is expected to be 163, 131, 103, and 76 for General, OBC, SC, and ST categories, respectively. The official cut off will be disclosed post-examination.  Candidates should have MBBS/ B.Sc Nursing/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BDS/ B Pharm/ BPT/ BBA Healthcare/ BBA Community Health Care/ BMLT/ B. Optom./ Bachelor in Orthotics & Prosthetics/ BOT/ B. Voc./ BASLP with a minimum of 55%. 

Although 88% on the GPAT is a good score, entrance to Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University's MBA programme may not be assured with that score alone. Less emphasis is given on GPAT in the MBA programme at DPSRU, which clearly employs the Delhi Pharma Entrance Test (DPET) result.Your application may be strengthened by a high GPAT score, but it won't be the main deciding factor in your selection.The number of applications, DPET exam difficulty, and available seats are some of the elements that determine the minimum cutoff scores for admission. Should the competition change, an 88% GPAT might be adequate this year, even though it wasn't in past years. Go to the DPSRU website and look for the official MBA cutoff scores from the prior year. 

Although DPSRU provides an MBA programme, it is not as general management-focused as programmes at usual business institutions. Rather, it is an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management designed with the pharmaceutical sector in consideration. Admission is based on entrance exams such as DPET and CAT, which are followed by a personal interview and group discussion.The DPSRU MBA programme does not use GPAT scores. To be admitted to the MBA programme, candidates must score at least 50% on the DPET. You can visit the official DPSRU website for the most up-to-date information. The website itself also has the cutoffs from the prior year. In addition to DPET results, academic standing on qualifying tests and in-person interviews are taken into account by DPSRU when admitting applicants.
